The Endangered Medicines Conservatory is in its genesis. We are laying the foundation for a sanctuary where rare and endangered healing traditions shall be safeguarded, studied, revived, and perpetuated. The conservatory shall be dedicated to ethnopharmaceutical knowledge, the indigenous healing arts, and threatened religious traditions. This initiative looks at not only the materia medica of these traditions, that is the physical remedies, but also the method, language, wisdom and belief that breathes life into each healing lineage. We invite kindred researchers, practitioners, and visionaries to join in this endeavour to preserve the legacy and totipotent potential of medicine.
